Closest Finish In Gran Turismo 7 Sport

One of the closest finish in Gran Turismo 7. I did not do well on the race but finishing in 11 place ahead of a car that overtaken me in the last lap made it entertaining at the very least. Shout out @Fedsmoker (racename in GT7) for racing cleanly.

How do the numbers on the jets work?
The numbers correlates to how lean or rich you want to run your engine. The lower the number indicates that lean jet setting and the higher the number means rich setting. Typically, to optimize your set up for your main jet, you would need a software such as rotax jetting app to tell you the optimum jet.
Would the kart fit with the 2nd row still installed? Might pickup a van.
I think it would but you wont be able to fit the kart stand and it would be very tight
Do it in the R92CP with the right tune and you can run 1:28 laps quite easily and complete the race in about 23 minutes and change. The record is about 22:30 or something.
Just using a regular gt2 or modified gt3 car is more effective.
I think those cars are great, but it feels a bit slower driving those cars. Using this car and the 7b7b, I'm able to lap all cars.
This is a great method, I am not that good and I crash a few times but still got the clean race bonus and won first for 760k, very easy beginner method and exactly what I was looking for because I don’t have lvl 50 to do the engine swap money methods (Honda beat 91 method is better than this if you’re level 50). This car is also really good imo, i got it for free but it’s worth the purchase if you have it available, it’s also really good for other 950pp races when tuned properly
That's good to hear. Yes I'm the same way when I started. If you can get the 787B Lemans race car, that is 2 seconds faster than this car for this race.
The Dodge Viper Srt GT3-R '15 is a little bit faster than that. My lap times are 1.34 fuel map 2 😊
This is not a good car to do this. Use Mazda 787B. You will get 1.34 lap times with fuel level 3 without any modification to lower speed.
Thanks for the info, I'll have to try that when I get that car.
Why do we need hard difficulty?
You don't have to set it to hard difficulty. I just prefer it over the easy or medium difficulty. Any one you choose is up to you, and you will get the same amount of credits.
I prefer the Beat 1991 afk method at daytona, which earned 25 million in 2 days while at work and doing household tasks
Same here, usually around 30m every 2 days tho for me.
I'll have to try that, thanks.
Any tips on getting the clean race bonus more consistently? I only get it about half the time
@@Jeemuzu14I think the way to do it is to drive without hitting any of the cars around you and keeping off the barriers. As long as you pit once for fuel and tires, you should be able to beat them by 20 to 40 seconds with out even trying.
can you explaint the metod? is there a video on youtube? thanks
Well you can race this track 3 - times in a row 75 or less minutes and you get 2,100,000.
True, that's definitely doable. This and the France 24 hr race can definitely net you a lot of credits.
See the groove in the hub? That's there so you can jam a thick screwdriver in & open it up a bit so you don't have to smash the hub with a hammer! Why did you take off the left hub?
Thanks for the info, I didn't know that. I normally take those off.
Says 485,000 credits for 1st place? On mine
that's right, but if you get a clean race bonus you will get more money from any race
@@mochiyaya Yes, and sometimes you get it even if you don't have a clean race.
The one at "France 24 Heures du Mans race track" It's even better. 1,650,000 per hour.
Way better
I'll have to try that one.
where did you get the mount for the front of the kart(the first one you talked about)
I remember buying a Neweer 50 in 1 go pro mount kit in Amazon. That kit contains all kinds of mounts especially the one in the video.
where is ur gloves and suit
We didn't need one for this rental kart.
what if the kart sets on fire and u know how many people touched that wheel @@AJsRacingJourney
@@supersubpls64 You're not wrong, I think its always good to have all the proper gear on. However, the likelihood of the kart catching fire is quite slim.
@@AJsRacingJourney try crash into a wall and tell them to get gear
What kart is that? It looks similar to mine.
Its a Sodi Kart ST30

So ghetto 😂
🤣 It works though
No gloves?
I forgot during this session
That was a great video, thank you so much for posting it.
Thank you Terrier53, I appreciate the support!
I did everything the same, but bent every link i tried as if the pins are WAY to tight. Im seriously confused
Sorry to hear that the link got bent. Did it get bent during the unchaining process or when you were putting it back together?
@@AJsRacingJourney unchaining
@@col3760 Ok, was all the chain and align prior to pushing it out and secured in place? Also, once everything is aligned just slowly push the pin out and don't force anything. If you can PM through insta via Gearhead TV and show a pic or a vid of how you are using the chain breaker.
Wat is je tijd?
Mijn snelste tijd was 41.798
You really said "oh we're playing that game huh?"
It definitely was, the lap before he was blocking the racing line and holding me back so, I just stayed back until I overtook him. Then, that guy dive bomb me and shoved me off, at that moment, I decided to play that game.
@@AJsRacingJourney Seems like the only reasonable course of action. Don't start none won't be none, bud.
@@LifeInJambles True that.
Where did you get the motor mount plate
I’m running the same motor and frame as you and wondering where you get that motor mount
I got it from IMI motorsport in Dacono, CO
I hate you the guy who divebomb you when you just past him
Thanks Matthias, the blue shirt guy definitely was a bit aggressive with his driving, but it was a fun battle.
@@AJsRacingJourney yep
Whatever i do my axle is stuck. I bought a used kart and it problaly hasn't been moved in a while. Do you have any tips to get is loose? Thanks
Sorry to hear you are having issue removing your axle. Did you remove all of the hex screws and all things attached to the axle? Hopefully the axle is not bent, also do you have a rubber mallet and PB blaster? those could help with removing the axle.
@@AJsRacingJourney thanks for the help. It was one hex screw that I could get out, but I managed to do it and put on a lot of lubrication and I managed to remove the axle. Thanks again
@@theodorwllestad9324 That's awesome to hear! Let me know you need help with anything else.
hey man i just bought a go kart this is helping me out a ton, dont listen to that dickhead in the comments just do you man
What’s the torque spec that you use
I typically use just hand tightening method to get the job done
Oh ok is there any recommended torque specs that you know of
@@BrandonGuillot_Racing Not sure to be honest, I looked up a few discussion thread and I found that most tighten by hand but there are those who uses a torque spec for mostly engine specific. See more in this thread forums.kartpulse.com/t/do-you-torque-wrench/1611
Great video 👍🏼 thx
Thanks for the kind words
I have Mychron3 and don't have this instrument . It's necessary for have lap time on dash? I have to 2 others sensors 1 temperature And 1 me-mo-tec MK2/0-1A71-BV06153 R6/1 (fahrtrichtung) and I don't know what second do
Yes, this beacon triggers the laptime function on your Mychron 3 and 4.
Just the chassis new was $2700?
Yes, at that time it was, and additionally the engine cost 500 bucks. So, total cost was not too bad and it is good if you are just starting out.
Wow funny to find your video running the two karts I'm currently trying to decide between at the same track I'll be taking them to (IMI).
That's awesome I'm sure both are equally fun but the shifter is quite a handful at times and requires a bit more practice to really get good at.
@@AJsRacingJourney that is what all my buddies who race said too, especially on the more twisty tracks. I ended up with a used TAG cart setup with a Vortex ROK 125 engine. It runs and drives but needs a little bit of work. Looking forward to taking it out to IMI this summer.
@@bradames3755 Congrats, the Tag kart is really a drivers kart. You'll have lots of fun with it and once you get the hang of it and you can go almost as fast as the shifter kart in IMI. If you watch the video, my Rotax kart was slightly faster in the corner, however straight section is where the shifter comes alive.
Nice video man, Thanks.
Thank you!
thanks for showing us with the go kart inside.
No problem man, and thank you for watching.
I love mine!! The power is always there!
Yes, it is intoxicating. I would have love to keep racing it, but it is for the younger folks. I did 20 laps on it and I felt like my ribs broke and my whole body was aching. It was quite a ride though. Do you do any club racing with your shifter kart?
Do you own a kart anymore
No, I sold all of my karts back in the US. I recently moved to Europe, and I am looking to get into go kart racing sometime next year.
@@AJsRacingJourney Why did you move to Europe, better racing in Europe anyways
@@sielracing Due to my job I had to move. Racing is great here but it is also much more expensive 🤮
@@AJsRacingJourney it is expensive but it’s fun what do you do for work just curious because I have never been to Europe
@@sielracing I work in IT just got the job transfer in Netherlands. Got lucky, yes it is quite expensive, but I'll just save up to fuel the hobby.
What brand Is It the helmet?, please, Bell, racequip, impact?, What model?, Thank you
Hello this particular helmet is made by Zamp and it is a US based helmet. As far as the model number this is one is no longer in production. This helmet is also specific for go kart racing and I am not sure what impact rating it has.
@@AJsRacingJourney Thank you, best wishes for to races

Where is this?
This is in Netherlands, Oss city the track is called Circuit Park Berghem. It is one of the best track I have raced.
@@AJsRacingJourney do you know what chassis and engine those rentals are? They look like nice rentals
@@motorsportministries7843 I am not sure what chassis it is, but they call it Kombikart Eco and it is a Honda GX200 and it has a 6.5 hp. They are pretty fun to drive, also the tires in it has a lot of grip.

Where do you get the rubber line for the oil catch
I got it from my local Kart shop in Colorado. The acceleration karting website that I use to order parts from have these rubber line as well.

Does your axle have built in hubs?
Hello Collin, no the axle does not have built in hub, although in the video the right side hub looks like it was built in.
@@AJsRacingJourney Appreciate it. Where do you purchase the parts, like the master cylinder and axle?
@@collinblake9957 No problem. Those parts can be purchased at you nearest go kart shop or I normally purchased parts from acceleration karting dot com in the US.
What kind of motor mount is that .. and where can I get one..
Hello Adan, the motor mount for this engine is called PKT for L0206 (4 stroke) motor. It came with the go kart purchase. Most parts that I bought was bought in my local go kart shop in the US. You could get one in acceleration karting dot com. It is one of the biggest websites for go kart parts, however, I'm not sure if they ship international.
